It is prohibited to recite brachos or speak in learning or even think in learning in the bathroom, even ours. One should use this time to think about their other daily activities, or about something they heard or saw that day that they were astounded about. One is permitted to think about the greatness and existence of Hashem in this world, or one’s thankfulness to Him. There is a discussion among the poskim if one can fulfill a mitzvah in the bathroom or unclean area.
