If one is in front of a woman who is improperly dressed, and can not turn away, one may close their eyes and recite a Bracha. Included in closing one’s eyes is reading from a siddur or sefer. This can be a practical solution when one is found in front of women with uncovered hair or dressed improperly and turning away or closing one’s eyes will cause a negative feeling (at a Shabbos table with one’s mother, relative or family friend).
