One should refrain from writing the Name of Hashem in vain, therefore, it is best not to write ב”ה or any other form of Hashem’s Name on paper that may be thrown in the garbage or left in a place of disgrace to the Name of Hashem. It is for this reason that it is preferable to always just write בס”ד.
