Halacha Yomi: July 16 2018

One may not recite a Brachah in front of a woman or a girl from the age of six (for close family members eleven), if any of the areas that must be covered are exposed. A husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson or brother, are permitted to recite a Brachah as long as less than a tefach is exposed. If more than a tefach is exposed  he must turn his entire body towards a different direction. If this is not possible, he may close his eyes or turn his head towards a different direction.
